Award Winning Photography
Why should you care if I’m an award winning photographer? The answer is simple, Better Pictures!
Participating in print competition trains me to concentrate on and see the differences between average professional images and a great professional images, and this translates into “seeing” great images while I’m shooting.
Additionally, attending print competitions allows me to see award winning images from photographers all over the world. Seeing what other great photographers shoot, helps me see things in different ways, at different angles, with different lighting, all of which makes me a better photographer. I am more quickly able to adapt to different situations and create the best images possible, given the situations, surroundings, and the light.
That I win at print competition, tells you, that as a photographer, I create better images than other photographers. It tells you that my images are better composed, better lit, and more creative. It tells you that I have honed my skills, knowledge, and talent to make better images than my peers.
Bottom line is that you will get the very best images possible!
Wedding Photographer of the Year for Washington State - In 2010 the Professional Photographers of WA (PPW) recognized me with Wedding Photographer of the Year for my outstanding wedding work and print images.
Wedding Photographer of the Year for Seattle - In 2010 the Professional Photographers of Seattle (SPPA) awarded me with Wedding Photographer of the Year for my outstanding wedding work and print images.
Master Photographer of the Year - In 2010 the Professional Photographers of Seattle (SPPA) awarded me Master Photographer of the year.
Fuji Masterpiece Award - In March 2010, my print "Stormy Seattle Wedding" won a Fuji Masterpiece Award. The print was selected by a panel of 5 professional judges as Best in Class for wedding photography. Fuji created the award to honor photographers whose work best represents the wedding category with the highest level of professional photography.
Kodak Gallery Award for Wedding Photography - In February 2010, I received a Kodak Gallery Award at the Western Regional Competition (WA, OR, ID, AK, CA). My image "How High? Sky High!, was selected by the judges as “Best of” from amongst the hundreds of images in the wedding division. Kodak created the award to recognize and celebrate professional photographers who operate at the highest levels of their craft.
Award of Excellence for Wedding Photography - In December 2009, I was recognized as the top Wedding Photographer in 2009 by the Seattle Professional Photographers Association (SPPA).
Wedding Portrait Photographer of the Year 2009 - In March 2009, I was awarded Wedding Portrait Photographer of the Year for Washington State.
Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI). In 2009, My images won 7 "Accolades of Excellence" from WPPI in recognition of his superior quality, creativity, and impact as a professional photographer.
